Write for Us

Do you know satin inside out? We are always looking for contributors who can explain fabric the way it deserves to be explained: precisely, honestly, and from the mechanism up.

Who we are looking for

  • Textile students, sewists, designers, and bedding specialists
  • Writers who can tell weave from fiber and weight from drape
  • People who would rather say “we do not know yet” than invent an answer

What to pitch

Practical guides and explainers our readers actually need: fabric science made readable, buying guides without brand bias, sewing and care tutorials, and honest comparisons. Check the blog first so you do not pitch something we have already covered.

Guidelines

  • Original only. No rewritten content, no AI-generated filler. Every section must earn its place.
  • Mechanism first. Explain why something behaves the way it does, not just what to do.
  • No invented facts. If a claim needs a source, cite it. If you are unsure, say so.
  • Length: most guides run 1,500 to 2,500 words.
  • Images: original photos or diagrams preferred; we can also produce visuals for your piece.

How to pitch

Send your idea through the contact form: a working title, a short outline (5 to 8 bullet points), and one paragraph on why you are the right person to write it. If we like it, we will reply within two weeks with next steps, deadlines, and terms.

We do not accept guest posts written solely for backlinks.
